Vintage Mexican Maraca from the 80's. Maracas are a typical style of Mexican percussion instrument made from a hollowed gourd with some seed inside to make the sound, the gourd is then attached to a carved wooden handle. These instruments make the sweetest sounding music and this maraca is no exception, very rhythmic and soothing.It is in nice vintage condition, measures approximately 7” inches long and 4” inches at the widest point of the gourd.
